Pump It Forward

The mission of Pump it Forward is to make breast pumps accessible to moms in need.

In 2015, the CDC reported that black infants have a significantly lower rate of breastfeeding than white infants, with only 36% exclusively breastfed at 3 months and only 17% at 6 months. Poverty, lack of insurance, lack of breastfeeding education, and lack of community support are among the many obstacles for these mothers.

At the same time, I see privileged women, myself included, with multiple breast pumps that they don’t know what to do with. My goal is to connect those two women and remove the obstacle of money for between them. I’m hoping to rely on the generosity of moms who have pumps they don’t need anymore to get them to moms that do need them.

This is where I need your help! Your donation, of any amount, will go toward covering the cost of these pumps, the accessories, and the shipping to get get them where they need to go. A donation as little as a dollar can make a difference.

Donations of $25 or more will receive a free Save The Milk Logo magnet handmade by RiverSeams Customz with your order!

Thank you, mama. I could not do this without your help!
