What are Lactation Cookies?

 

Our Lactation Cookies and other mixes are specially designed to enhance breast milk production in lactating women. Each mix contains a blend of
3 key ingredients proven to support lactation: Whole Oats, Flaxseed and Brewer's Yeast. When combined with your favorite cookie dough ingredients you have a delicious, nutritious, milk enhancing cookie! All Cookies, Then Milk! Lactation Mixes are a delicious and nutritious way to quickly and effectively increase your breast milk supply AND replace lost or low nutrients that your body needs!

 

Preparing Your Cookies:
*All flavors can be prepared with a lower fat and sugar content by altering the ingredients you add at home*
           
                Original Recipe - Supply Boost - 3 dozen cookies
1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)                                            
3 egg whites
1 stick butter, softened  (NOT melted)                                             
2 Tbsp water
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Blend the butter into the Dry Mix packet. Add vanilla, water and egg whites and stir until combined. Chill batter in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 10 minutes. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Press down with the back of the spoon for a flatter cookie. Bake 6-8 minutes.

               Specialty Recipe - Supply Boost - 3 dozen cookies
2 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)                                       
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup water
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir the vanilla and water into the applesauce. Pour in the Dry Mix packet. Stir until combined. Chill batter in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 10 minutes. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Press down with the back of the spoon for a flatter cookie. Bake 6-8 minutes.

               Additional Substitute options include:
  • (1) 15 oz. can Organic Pumpkin Puree in place of ALL other ingredients. 🦃 Pumpkin Puree is Gluten Free, Vegan and lower in fat than eggs and butter!
  • Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Sticks in place of Butter
  • Coconut Oil / Olive Oil in place of Butter
  • Honey or Agave Nectar in place of Sugar
  • Pure Maple Syrup in place of Sugar

Whole Oats, Unbleached Flour, Pure Cane Sugar, Brown Sugar, Chocolate Chips (or Peanut Butter Chips or Butterscotch Chips), Brewer's Yeast, Flaxseed Meal, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and Salt. 

 

Gluten Free Cookie Mixes:

Gluten Free Whole Oats, Gluten Free Flour, Pure Cane Sugar*, Brown Sugar*, Gluten/Soy/Dairy Free Chocolate Chips, Brewer's Yeast*, Flaxseed Meal*, Baking Soda*, Gluten Free Baking Powder, Salt* and Xantham Gum*.

*Naturally Gluten Free

(Mixes not listed contain similar ingredients above and may also contain:

Ginger, Dried Orange Peel, Nuts, Raisins, Chocolate Coated Candies)

Whole Oats, Unbleached Flour, Pure Cane Sugar, Brown Sugar, Dairy Free Chocolate Chips (or Dark Chocolate Chunks or Cranberries ), Brewer's Yeast, Flaxseed Meal, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and Salt.
