What are Lactation Cookies?

 

Our Lactation Cookies and other mixes are specially designed to enhance breast milk production in lactating women. Each mix contains a blend of
3 key ingredients proven to support lactation: Whole Oats, Flaxseed and Brewer's Yeast. When combined with your favorite cookie dough ingredients you have a delicious, nutritious, milk enhancing cookie! All Cookies, Then Milk! Lactation Mixes are a delicious and nutritious way to quickly and effectively increase your breast milk supply AND replace lost or low nutrients that your body needs!

 

Preparing Your Cookies:
*All flavors can be prepared to meet diet or allergy restrictions by altering the ingredients you add at home*
           
                Original Recipe - 3 dozen cookies                                       
3 egg whites
8 tablespoons butter, softened                                              
2 Tbsp water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the butter into the Dry Mix packet. Add egg whites, butter, and water, and stir until combined. Chill batter in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Press down with the back of the spoon for a flatter cookie. Bake 9 minutes.
       
Quick Boost - 1 dozen cookies                                       
1 egg white
4 tablespoons butter, softened                                              
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the butter into the Dry Mix packet. Add egg white and butter, and stir until combined. Chill batter in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Press down with the back of the spoon for a flatter cookie. Bake minutes.


               Additional Substitute options include:
  • (1) 15 oz. can Organic Pumpkin Puree in place of ALL other ingredients. Pumpkin Puree is Gluten Free, Vegan and lower in fat than eggs and butter!
  • Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Sticks in place of Butter
  • Coconut Oil / Olive Oil in place of Butter
  • Applesauce in place of Eggs

Gluten Free Whole Oats, Gluten Free Flour, Brown Sugar*, Pure Cane Sugar*,  Brewer's Yeast*, Flaxseed Meal*, Baking Soda*, Gluten Free Baking Powder, Salt* and Xantham Gum*.
